I’m SO glad there was so much positive feedback on my post from Friday! I was a bit worried to post it, just because I was afraid it might be an unpopular opinion in the “healthy living blogging community” but I’m so glad that it wasn’t and there are so many people that agree. I truly hope that you all enjoy the holidays, and don’t stress too much about it.

Being a part of #Elf4Health has truly been such a blessing for me these past two weeks, and I’m really excited that there are another two weeks of the challenge!
Today’s challenge is to list 20 things that we’re grateful for. I’m so grateful for what I have, yet I don’t always take the time to appreciate how grateful I am. We’re so quick to say what’s wrong, yet don’t always take the time to say what’s right.
On Thanksgiving, I shared eight things that I was thankful for, so this may be a bit of a repeat, but I know you don’t mind
1. I am so grateful for my family. They’re one of a kind
2. I’m grateful for my friends. Old & New. <3
3. I’m grateful that I’ve stayed in contact with so many of my friends from high school and from college. It takes a bit of extra work to stay in contact when you’re not in high school or college anymore, but it’s absolutely always worth it
4. I am grateful for this little love muffin, Miss Brynlee. Obviously, I’m kind of obsessed with her, but for good reason. I mean, look at her face!!
I can’t handle how adorable she is! She’s trying to start to learn how to crawl – she’s not quite there yet but she’s working really hard! Her hands are a blur in that top left picture because she is obsessed with clapping.
Her mom is one of my best friends and I’m so thankful for them both. Look at Brynlee when she was only a few weeks old!
It’s really important to me that she knows who her Aunt Lindsay is and that I’m in her life
5. I’m grateful that I’m still silly. A lot of people grow out of that, or don’t allow themselves to be themselves (does that make sense?) for fear of being judged. For the most part, I let me silliness be there and I’m proud of it!
6. I’m grateful for the time I had with my dad, even though it was briefer than I would have liked. However, he loved us so much, and I know that & I’m lucky and thankful for the time that I did have.
7. Well of course I’m grateful for cupcakes. Whoever had the idea to make a little miniature cake was super smart. So awesome!
8. I’m grateful for my health. Even though I’m overweight, for the most part I’m mostly healthy. I don’t often get sick (knock on wood!) and for that I’m very thankful.
9. I’m grateful that I’m learning to face my fears more. Each time I challenge myself, I grow a bit, and that is pretty awesome.
10. I’m grateful that I’m trying to learn to love running. I like it, but I still don’t love it quite yet. It’s still hard and challenging but I keep trying!
11. I’m grateful for my education. My time in undergrad was one of my favorite times in my life so far. I made great friends, and I’m so lucky. Now, I’m working towards my Masters, which isn’t easy right now, but it’s worth it!
12. I’m grateful for my job. I was so lucky to get a job shortly after graduation, and I love it.
13. I’m grateful for the ability to travel. I haven’t been as many places as I’d like to, but I’ll go everywhere someday! I’m also grateful that I have friends living in different states that invite me to come visit!
14. I’m grateful for my blends. I talk to most of them through Facebook or Twitter in some shape or form almost every day and that’s kind of awesome! Blogging friends really are the best
15. I’m grateful for Lindsay Weighs In. This little blog is my corner of the internet, where I can talk about what’s going on in my life, or what I’m struggling with and people understand what I’m going through. That’s pretty awesome! I’m so grateful for everyone that visits my blog, comments or likes a post. Blogging has brought so much extra joy to my life!
16. I’m grateful for my kindness. I truly care about others, and even though it may be seen as a weakness, it’s who I am and I’m proud of it.
17. I’m grateful that I keep trying at this whole weight loss thing. This is the third? time that I’ve tried to lost weight. However, as long as I keep trying that’s fine
18. I’m grateful for television, movies and books. Sometimes, you need an escape from reality and they’re the perfect way to do so!
19. I’m grateful for the holiday season, and my ability to celebrate it. Everything is better during the holidays I love Christmas music, movies & how happy everyone is during the holidays.
20. I’m grateful for tulips and sunflowers, my two favorite flowers
